Appointments & Bookings

  • All grooming appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

  • Appointment times are estimates and may vary depending on coat condition, behaviour, and grooming requirements.

Pricing

  • Prices are based on dog size, breed, coat type, coat condition, and behaviour.

My standard hourly rate is £40 per hour. This rate will apply where additional time is required due to:

    • De-matting

    • Excessive undercoat removal

    • Poor coat condition

    • Behavioural challenges

    • Late arrival impacting scheduled time

Severely matted coats, difficult behaviour, or additional grooming time may incur extra charges. Where possible, this will be discussed with the owner prior to proceeding.

Deposits & Payments

  • Payment is due on the day of the groom, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payments can be made via cash, card or bank transfer.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Owners must inform the groomer of any health conditions, skin issues, injuries, or behavioural concerns prior to the appointment.

  • Pregnant dogs will not be groomed under any circumstances.

  • Dogs that are unwell, aggressive, or excessively stressed may have their groom stopped for welfare reasons.

Matting Policy

  • Matted coats can cause discomfort and skin issues.

  • Where matting is severe, clipping may be necessary to ensure the dog’s welfare.

  • Additional charges may apply for dematting or extra grooming time.

Behaviour

  • Dogs must be able to tolerate basic handling.

  • Any aggressive or dangerous behaviour may result in the groom being stopped or refused for safety reasons.

Accidents & Injury
